Give wings to your project!
With SvenSchmuderer.
Partner for cities, municipalities & companies.
Training for your team.
Support through to success.
Support especially at the beginning.
With certainty.
Participation has potential. I make this potential usable and support your project and its acceptance – while creating a prerequisite for many government fundings at the same time.
You want to shape and advance your city or municipality, your company or your project? You have concrete ideas? And you want to involve residents or other stakeholders?
With good planning and a professional approach, you can manage this and give wings to your project.
Therefore, you need a partner who recognizes your individual ideas, designs participation appropriately for your project and can empathize with your specific stakeholders.
At the same time, you should be able to take over your participation project quickly and successfully with your team. I offer you to train your dedicated specialists.
I would be happy to support you actively until your team takes over the tasks. Full-service offerings (concept development, public relations, participation units, workshops, lectures, school projects, etc.) are also possible upon request.
You have security on your side: I offer you my services as long as you want them.
Specifically, I offer to you: expertise and experience, suggestions for effective collaboration, and a participation process that leads to results and is also fun.
Please feel free to contact me at any time!
Kind regards,
Dr Sven Schmuderer

My name is Dr Sven Schmuderer - I'd like to introduce myself:
I am...
- ... experienced in (academically) supporting small and large citizen participation projects and an expert in analogue and digital participation processes in rural and urban areas (here you can find a sample of a final report as well as further information on digital participation opportunities which are part of my service offering). I'm always delighted to receive positive references and positive feedback and am happy to share them with potential clients. I have put my experience and expertise on a scientific basis with my doctoral thesis in social geography on "Citizen Engagement and Participation in urban- and rural-digital Spaces ";
- ... experienced in designing and conducting seminars, workshops, lectures, and training courses. This benefits not only my clients, their on-site managers, and the people involved, but also, due to my previous work as a lecturer at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology (DIT), the students in the Master's program in Public Management since 2018 (module "Regional Governance and Participation") and the Bachelor's program in Business Management since 2022 (module "Human Resources, Organization, and Change"), from whom I have happily always received very positive feedback in evaluations;
- ...active and open to exploring new territory in order to seize opportunities or avoid risks. This openness and ability to start something new also benefits the municipalities of an regional alliance, which I supported in their establishment in 2017 and continuously support as a driving force and coordinator to this day;
- … always up-to-date and have innovative and creative ideas and methods at my disposal, which I use appropriately and sensibly or develop with my clients. My regional and international network of friends in science, research, cities & municipalities, administration, and business is very helpful in generating new ideas and discovering chances;
- … have been volunteering in associations in my hometown (and beyond) since my youth which strengthened my sensitivity to the individual needs, wishes, and ideas of local politicians and project managers as well as local/regional stakeholders;
- … managing director of a job center and therefore very results-, solution-, and implementation-driven, with experience in project-, HR-, financial-, and process management as well as team development and in dealing with a wide variety of challenges from customers, employees, and (network) partners;
- … a father for whom reliability, security, and an empathetic, future-oriented approach are important, even in difficult or emotional situations. I'm glad to be asked for advice in a private or professional context and moreover to offer tips or suggestions that help others in their next steps towards personal development.
